Tailored and Box Welded liners are normally fabricated from1.0mm EPDM rubber or occasionally 0.75mm Butyl rubber and are used to line vertically sided earth/brick or concrete formal shaped ponds (rectangles, circles or “L“ shapes) where excessive folds and creases need to be avoided.
Tailored liners, which may include planting shelves, sloping bases, uneven depths and the haunched base required to fit bottom drains to Koi ponds, can all be accommodated. To assist us in providing you with the tailored or box welded pond liner you require, we will need a drawing showing all the dimensions.
If you are planning a complicated and irregular shaped pond it may be easier for you to provide a template of the base and send it to us. We can then cut out the shape and add in the walls. For very complicated ponds we can tailor and install the liner on site using our 1.2mm Flagon Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO).
For more information regarding onsite installation see the Bespoke Projects section.
Please contact us if you have any questions or require any further information regarding tailored liners.
