Roofing

EPDM sheet has for a long time been regarded as one of the superior roofing membranes available, due to its elasticity and extreme weather resistance. The expected life span of EPDM rubber roofing membrane is in excess of 40 years.

The Sealeco Superseal system is a light weight adhered or mechanically attached system, easy to use and installed on site using a heat splicing technique. Alternatively larger, made to measure sheets can be prefabricated in our factory and laid directly onto the roof. Thermobond heat splice accessories provide a complete engineered system. All details are available such as corners, boots, collars, drains, flashing sheets and adhesives. The Superseal cold adhered and mechanically attached flat roofing system are certified and fulfil the requirements of the British Board of Agre’ment, BBA certificate No 92/2799.

Beads of adhesive are applied over approximately 25% of the roof surface. Superseal membrane is laid parallel, traverse to the roof slope with 50 mm overlapping. Seams are heat spliced with a hot air splicing machine.       The Superseal membrane is laid along the rooftop with 50 mm overlap. The membrane is secured by fasteners through both membrane edges. Seams are heat-spliced with a 150 mm wide Thermobond Spice Strip and the Thermobond Strip Splicing Machine.
